Our introductory dives are designed
to take you below the surface to experience the joys of marine
life. This course starts off with ½ an hour talk on
basic theory, then a real dive in the safety of a confined
water area.
No experience is necessary for this
dive and all diving equipment and transport to dive sites
and back is included in the price.
Prerequisites:
Participants must sign and complete
the Discover Scuba/Discover Scuba Diving Statement before
entering the water. Age Limit: 14 years of age or older.
Open Water Course.
Duration: 4 to 5 days
The original complete beginners course
which will allow you to dive anywhere in the world.
The PADI Open Water Diver certification
is the cornerstone of the PADI System. The course is split
into three main areas with sub divisions:
Knowledge development, in which there
are five modules.
Confined water is the next segment and is made up of five
dives. These are done in water that represents swimming pool
like conditions. During this portion of the course you will
be taught how to master all of the scuba skills.
The final segment is made up of four open water dives, where
the last two are to a maximum depth of 18m.
During these dives you will show that you have mastered all
that you have learned in the previous two areas.

Advanced Open Water Course.
Duration: 2 to 3 days
A diving course which is mainly about
diving! No sitting in a classroom for this one. During the
course you will carry out five dives-one of which will be
to 30m! This course can also be tailored to the "slightly
rusty" diver as we can incorporate Peak Performance Buoyancy
into the program.
This course is designed for students
who have completed the PADI Open Water Diver Course or any
other entry level diving course.
The course focuses on expanding your
diving experiences and building the knowledge from your Open
Water Course.
We will take you on five dives (two core & three electives)
to introduce you to the advantage of diving at night and how
to plan those dives when you want to go a bit deeper.

PADI Open Water Diver or Equivalent
The use of books, full equipment, training,
transport to dive sites and back as well as certification
are included in the price.
Rescue diver Course.
Duration: 3 to 4 days
Diving emergencies are rare but to be
armed with the knowledge to deal with one should it occur
is very reassuring. This course will also improve your general
dive skills.
The PADI Rescue Diver Course is the
first point in your diver training when we start to focus
your attention on how to assist others and how to prevent
and handle diving emergencies.
Prerequisites:
Prerequisites are PADI Open water and PADI Medic First Aid
or equivalent and during the course the following theory topics
and water skills will be covered:
Academic - Self rescue and diver stress,
Diving first, Emergency management and Equipment considerations.
Water skills - Swimming & non swimming
assists, Panicked-diver responses, Underwater problems, Missing
diver procedures, Surfacing the unconscious diver, In water
artificial respiration, Equipment removal during artificial
respiration, Egress and first aid for diving accidents.

transport to dive sites and back as well as certification
are included in the price.
Medic First Aid.
Duration: 1 day
This is a prerequisite for the Rescue
Diver Course and consists of 8 hour emergency medical training.
Prerequisites:
Medic First Aid is designed for use
by the lay-person, the non-designated, non-dutied, voluntary
"Good Samaritan."
This course is for students seeking
CPR/first aid training to meet a diving course requirement,
for personal enhancement, or as part of a community service
activity. This course is not designed for the student who
seeks CPR/first aid training to meet workplace requirements.
The following topics are covered; Setup
and barriers Primary assessment, Rescue breathing, One rescuer
CPR, Choking management, Control of bleeding, Shock management,
Continuing circle of care, Illness assessment, Injury assessment
and Course standards.
